Phoebe's date: Ok, so if I get the library car, can I take you out sometime?

Phoebe was invited to perform her songs for kids in the library. And after the show she kisses her about-to-be-boyfriend and tells him playfully:

- Ok, so if I get the library car, can I take you out sometime?

And there is an audience laughter saying that there was a joke. So my guess is that Phoebe meant to say 'the library card' not 'the library car'. Or there are some other joke that I missed?

  1. Yes, she meant "card".
If you have a library card you can take book out.

  2. She did say card. "So, if I get a library card..." She probably just didn't enunciate the D enough.

How is Chandler's reference to Hymn 253: "His Eyes are on the Sparrow" funny? Ross and Rachel just broke up. Rachel invites guys to a free event she has tickets to. They reject the invitation, because Ross had them reserved for that same night earlier. Rachel says that it's not a big deal and leaves. Everyone is upset especially Chandler. He lights up a cigarette even though he wasn't smoking for a year already. Someone knocks on a door and Chandler says: Chandler: That's great. With my luck, that's him. Phoebe:  Him? Ross?
