Chandler: I think because of margaritas three, four, and nine.

Phoebe suggests that she'd close her eyes and point to someone, and the one, at whoever she points has to come up with something fun for them all to do, and they have to do it. Phoebe gets in the middle, closes her eyes, and starts spinning in a circle.

Phoebe: Okay. (Starts to spin) Ooh, y'know we could just do this. (She stops at Chandler)
Chandler: Okay, umm, we all have to play strip poker.
Joey: (jumping in triumph) OH YES!!!!!
Monica: Chandler! Why, all of a sudden, do you wanna play strip poker?
Chandler: I think because of margaritas three, four, and nine.

What does Chandler mean?

    Ok, that is anothr one, I seem to get without googling and right after I finish writing the post.

    So my guess is that Chandler supports the idea of playing strip poker, because the girls (that are placed from chandler's stand point at 3, 4 and 9 o'clock direction) are drunk with margaritas enough that the probability of them "really playing" is much higher.

    But Phoebe didn't drink... Maybe I am wrong. What do you think?

      they're not actually standing in that order, Rachel's on 3, Monica's on 9 and Pheobe's on 10-11-ish... (if you look at it from Chandler's view port)..

      I think he's just counting the amount of Margaritas he had, and implying that he had too much that he even doesn't remember the number.. I'm don't know this for a fact but it's my explanation of it :)

s03e17 Chandler: No, Hymn 253: "His Eyes are on the Sparrow."

How is Chandler's reference to Hymn 253: "His Eyes are on the Sparrow" funny? Ross and Rachel just broke up. Rachel invites guys to a free event she has tickets to. They reject the invitation, because Ross had them reserved for that same night earlier. Rachel says that it's not a big deal and leaves. Everyone is upset especially Chandler. He lights up a cigarette even though he wasn't smoking for a year already. Someone knocks on a door and Chandler says: Chandler: That's great. With my luck, that's him. Phoebe:  Him? Ross? Chandler:  No, Hymn 253: "His Eyes are on the Sparrow." What is that with this hymn?
