I'm your father. I am The Head!

Ross has found out that he needs to leave for China. But his son just got born. So he asks Monica to bring a picture of his to Ben and show it to him once in a while. Phoebe takes the picture and mocks Ross:

- Hi, Ben. I'm your father. I am The Head!

I sense that it should mean something.

  1. The first part might be from "Star Wars". Something like "Luke I am your father"?

  2. the role of the father is sometimes known to be "the head of the family"

    He is....
    THE HEEEEAD.

    1. That makes sense. We also say a similar thing about a father of a family.

    2. I think zombie dig is correct, and Phoebe must have said that because when he is with Susan and Carol, Ross always tries to maintain his superiority (like by playing sperm card) meaning he tries to be a head

    3. I like it)) This is so cute, when Ross gets insecure about his role in the tricky family of three parents and one kid. Maybe, indeed sensitive Phoebe is just innocently channeling Ross's underlying message?

s03e17 Chandler: No, Hymn 253: "His Eyes are on the Sparrow."
