What was this "Pirates comment" in reference to? It is just a very first minutes of the episode, so I am sure all the clues are in that very scene. But I still don't get it.
Maybe something related to the illegal copying of various stuff (пиратство)? Like she's getting "illegal" random job for a while?
ReplyDeleteNot sure, was this "pirate" term that widely used back in 1993? And she indeed stresses out the BACK word. Guess Chandler should be responding to emotion produced there.

Deleteyes, I think that's the joke. She's talking about 'getting her clients BACK', which could just mean that she convinces them to come back, but it could sound a lot like she needs to GET them actively back from somewhere, as if they were taken from her. And who would kidnap wealthy clients off to far away places? pirates.
DeleteYeah, it feels like there should have been more story to it earlier in that episode. Will try to rewatch it and dig for the answer.
